The color cover and especially the interior color picture of Holo and Norah look much sharper, especially the interior picture

Guess that interior picture is really sharp, huh?

I believe Spice and Wolf has been pretty popular in North America. Yen has been releasing the novel and manga at regular intervals and Funi has licensed both seasons of the anime. I do agree that the manga is the weaker of the 3 versions of the story though.

FUNimation has cited Spice and Wolf Season 1 sold very well, which makes sense given how quickly they licensed Season 2. Hopefully that means enough people are buying the light novels so they can continue, as I am enjoying reading the series. I'll pass on the manga though, the novels and anime are enough for me.

The anime will always be my favorite version of the material followed by the light novels, but I also enjoy the manga. I really liked the one chapter that focused solely on Norah.

I love the series and really hope the manga and light novel series continue (and would love a 3rd anime season too!).

Maybe the alternate covers for the light novels actually help. Laughing
