Wow, this is actually a pretty awesome site. I'd recommend checking out the glossary, which explains all sorts of J-fashion and cultural stuff that'll pop up in a movie like this. This is the first live action movie licensed by an anime company that I'm actually looking forward to (sorry, those ADV live action properties hold no appeal for me )

I'm interested in Geneon's Tetsujin film, but then I'm into that kaiju/tokusatsu stuff. And I'm likely to give Izo a whirl whenever MB puts it out on dvd. As for Viz, they pretty much dumped most of their live-action titles, including Love and Pop, on Kino, so I'm surprised they're getting back into the business. They probably finally realized they were losing a lucrative ancillary market. Anyway, I hope they resolved those music rights issues over Sanctuary. I also have a feeling they're gonna get the movie version of Love in the Center of the World(aka Socrates) and the live-action Nana next, since Shogakukkan has the rights to both films. Anyway, Kamikaze Girls is charming and a great party flick.
