At least one country is getting it right.

My whole problem with this concept is this sentence.

They want to disconnect people over "alleged" violation. That means turning off your internet without having to take you to court. That can't be legal by any country's constitution. It flies in the face of "innocent until proven guilty" by handing out punishment before there have even been any proper charges brought against the defendant (infringer). I realize this is a global problem, but trying to get ISPs to play judge/jury/de-internet-izer is not the way to go about it.
