what do you all think? i hope, they might, but heavily edited. However, i seriously doubt it will get aired, because [adultswim] can do some dumb crap (i recall a while back they were gifted an opprotunity to air excel saga and turned it down...) so i dunno....

and am i the only one who thinks they should air the escaflowne anime, since they did the movie?

NO, too violent and filled with suggestive themes and nudity. EoE wouldnt make it to TV, also because of its psychological themes as well.

Seeing as its a cable network they COULD show it if they had the rights. Considering some of the other stuff they have been airing I this EoE isn't completely out of the question.

Yes, they *could* air it, but since the rights for it have nothing at all to do with their rights they have from ADV to air the series, I wouldn't count on it. On top of that, the movie is what I think AS would consider even a bit over the line for what the network would want to air. They could always prove me horribly wrong though.

Random Though: Haven't I posted in enough Eva threads to earn an 'Eva Guru' tag yet? Laughing

yes but i doubt they will...unfourtanetly. I'd have some hope for the network if they'd just bring back some of the great stuff they used to have, like RoD and Big O. i liked big o.

I'd vote for Outlaw Star, minus Toonami edits.

see, i hear alot about that; never used to watch it. Kinda sounds like CBBB, only...better?

and toonami edits are mean; i wish, so badly, that they would air uncut naruto on adultswim. Same deal if (i don't see why I see this happening, i just do) they ever get their hands on bleach...if toonami gets it i will throw up. or...what if....4kids got it?!?!??!

Won't happen; Naruto's target audience is the same Toonami crowd as the DBZ target audience, so moving it to adult swim just to satisfy some 17 y/o+ anime fans who want to see explosive nosebleeds and people's hands getting stabbed would be ratings suicide.

Furthermore, why not ask this kind of question at the Adult Swim site itself?

True. I always thought it'd be a good idea for them to throw the shows uncut onto the VOD channel. While the target audience is a bit younger, I guarantee you that there is enough of fanbase that uncut Naruto on VOD would be pulling in good numbers, at least as far as VOD goes.

Won't happen since Encore Action owns the rights to both Eva movies.

Now now.. that depends on the licensing contract, and if they have exclusive broadcast rights.
