I was searching for some useful avatars (in Google) and ran accross a site that had avs from Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san. I searched the forum for more information on this anime but there was none. I did determined that it may only be avertisement fluff for a game; unfortunately I don't know Japanese, so I didn't get much from the website.
After viewing the 11 min episode, i am wondering if my fears are warranted or is it possible that there may be a series developed for it? I really enjoyed the way they used sound to bring out the technological nature of what was going on. Also it was novel to have fight scenes off camera and what little was shown of the human chara really had me wanting for more to learn more about them. |

Mmm, very unlikely, for its original manga consists only one tankoubon. There's not enough material to develop a 25 min X 13 eps TV series, but a series with 12 min X 6-9 eps may be possible, especially if spoiler[1) the slight romance between Kimiko Dewa and Aburatsubo 2) cosplaying Mu-chan 3) "DollKet" (Doll Market, a parody of Comic Market; there are several doll conventions in reality, but none of them is dedicated to HoiHoi-san, of course)] can be addressed further. |

Thanks. I would like to see a short series done, but I suppose it wouldn't be very cost effective. I'll just have to look for the manga to get the rest of the story.
