Hey everyone! I'm doing a research project for my mass media class and need some people to help me out. I'm wanting to do a research project where I look into the characters of a specific show, and for the project I chose High School of the Dead.
So if you would be so kind, what were your initial thoughts on the female cast of High School of the Dead specifically? You may get quoted in an upcoming research paper so if you could be as detailed as possible, it would really help me. In addition, if I do quote you, you will remain completely anonymous so please, hold nothing back. |

A word of advice.
For all the people that join ANN just to do get help on homework, it's usually suggested that you try to the best of your abilities to be as detailed as possible about motivations, reasoning, and whatnot about the actual project as well. In general, people who start discussions are required to at least give their own views before inquiring from others. That's kinda' how a discussion goes: one person gives an opinion (and hopefully makes some kind of sentient argument about why), and if people are interested in talking about it, then said discussion ensues. Maybe you could elaborate as to why you're choosing High School of the Dead (of all things) to write a paper about? And why the females? Which particular female character do you find interesting and why? You don't have to be super-detailed. But anything is better than nothing to get the ball rolling. Otherwise, the rest of the community just won't give a hoot, unless you show a little more effort. Good luck. |

The cast is "various stereotypes with huge torpedo tits". Highschool of the Dead isn't a character-analysis show, it's a hyper-violent and hyper-sexualized take on the typical zombie apocalypse. Almost none of the characters (even the men) have any kind of arc or drive from what I've seen and read. Maybe that'll change with the upcoming resumption of the manga, but the most you can get out of anyone is that it's okay to kill zombies because they're no longer in possession of humanity. It's pretty obvious why Inazuma (who's continued to draw hyper-sexual manga and straight up erotic doujinshi during the hiatus) is the artist on the manga.
You're better off picking another show for the topic, as I see it. |
