God forbid they keep the original title. I just saw the new Oldboy, which disappointed me, so I don't have high hopes. Even still, maybe this'll actually be good?

If I knew nothing of the source and had to choose between Engrish and blandness, I'd choose...hmm...probably a different movie, actually.

I like the title change. The original made me laugh and all I could think of every time I saw it was the chorus to the Beatles song but replacing "love" with "kill".
Now, if the series is supposed to be a war comedy, well that was a perfect title as anyone familiar with the Beatles would probably chuckle and picture this as some Hogan's Heroes come to life with bombs exploding while someone sings a riff on the Beatles track.
