Yeah, spare me the tripe about male gymnasts being "wussy", the sheer skill and physicality those stunts required was amazing.

Also worth noting, they had a riff on ToQger, the current Super Sentai show, in there too; at 1:45 they do the team's signature pose. I'm sure there's more Japanese pop culture references that we're missing out on too.

@1:56 the guy on the far left fails his Arabian, and just before that he began his Back Handsprings with one hand. I wonder if he got too excited, or if he was injured Surprised...

In any case it was an awesome performance.

I'm guessing this is an American thing? Because where i'm from doing this stuff is considered pretty badass... You can do multiple backflips? Great party trick, barring you can still do it after cupious amounts of alcohol Laughing

I think I heard after the AoT song the opening theme for Happiness Charge Precure or am I imagining it?

Yup, at the 2:45 mark. I didn't completely realized it was Happiness Charge at first, but right after 3 seconds the word "Precure" was ringing in my head.

Surely the olympics can find inspiration from this. If all the olympic routines were this funny and amusing many more people would watch the event.

Tumbling! I love this stuff.

Anime hyper I really love the Water Boys in there. (the first song and the last pose's 'ah~') It's really fitting for tumbling.
