Looking at those pictures - oversized portrait, flowers and other "offerings" in neat rows, etc. - it almost seems as if they were mourning him rather than celebrating his birthday.

None of those Twitter photos show the bag of rice that someone left! Anime hyper

Atobe's birthday is... special. Even the official Twitter account of regular Japanese companies like Sharp get in on it.
