Interesting that Kira and Allison are back for this show- it's been ages since I've heard from them.

Look, kids, it's Armin Arlert and Hange Zoe! Again!

In this day and age, it really is surprising to see Allison Keith's name attached to something that isn't Evangelion. Also nice to see Kira Vincent-Davis again.

Too bad it's a dub for one of the worst seasons of a show that I've ever seen.

Well, I'm sure all the people who bought season 1 on Blu-Ray won't be disappointed that this is apparently DVD-only for no stated reason.

I call it "Story Detracting from Fanservice."

Yeah, it's great to see them in something.

Pretty much. I found the first season decent enough, but this one just plunged down the fanservice rabbit hole to the point where I'm pretty sure the actual plot covered in the season could be summarized in about two episodes.

Wait, I bought season one on Blu-ray and was already disappointed by that one, you know, the one with the story about a guy, a couple of girls, some mech suits and...

Yeah.

So obviously, season 2's going to be a disappointment as it has no story about a guy, some girls and some mech suits.

What isn't disappointing is Greenfield directing Calvello again. That actually has me interested... in a DVD only followup to a series I bought on BD.

I'll wait. It's not as if I was in a hurry to buy the first season and I haven't even watched it yet.
