Wow. It's STILL airing and it already has a 2nd season in the works. That was quicker than AoT which is insanely more popular and stopped airing a year and a half ago.

HELL YEAH!
Unlike AoT, AC has enough manga for a 2nd season already. AoT does NOT.

AoT didn't have enough manga chapters out to warrant a second season
Assassination Classroom does

Great news! Looking forward for some of the arcs in the next season. Hopefully it'll begin airing in fall/winter.

Can I have a hallelujah? Of course, it should be an ongoing anime, like Sazae-san, Naruto, Fairy Tail, Case Closed, and One Piece.

AoT didn't have enough chapters released or else season 2 would've aired this year.

So we can continually have long stretches of filler like Naruto or pacing even worse than Planet Namek like in One Piece? No thanks. Splitting it into multiple seasons is better if you ask me.

@Detrimont / sim0n2170

Since when do they not go into filler arcs? Not that I'm complaining.

Crucially they've not mentioned when the second season will air, so it's very likely they'll air it when the series is either completely finished or will finish half-way through the air-time.

consider the gap between the manga and the anime and where they most likely to end the first season i think they will mention when the second season will air once the first season will end
