That may happen too. All I'm waiting for is the P5 soundtrack. Is that even OUT yet?

I'd rather not have to wait a decade for "Persona 6."

Just got through P4A Ultimax on the Playstation, with the first P4A storyline as DLC--
And while it's valuable from a visual-novel viewpoint for joining the P3 and P4 canons as a story excuse for the characters to meet each other (the older P3 survivors are now the Shadow Taskforce, and become aware of the P4's TV-world case)...it's just another pointless fight-game without the Story Mode, and a heavy "80% story, 20% game" slog with.
(After getting through literally 15-20 minutes of text and voice-dialogue story to set up one battle, the battle opens with a sound-effect of "Finally!", and the player heartily agrees. )
If the creator wants to find some excuse of how the P3+4 canon can now meet our P5 mysterious thieves, he's welcome to try, but I'm with Falcon--I'd rather have the dancing game.

Given that Persona 5 has been a huge smash hit (already the best selling game in the Megaten franchise after only a month) I'd say the odds of it getting spinoffs are pretty darn good. And P4 Arena was a very popular seller as well. I bet it's only a matter of time before this happens.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that problem with P4A. With the original P4, you can justify it since it was an RPG. With P4A, the cutscenes drag on in a game from a genre that's usually fast-paced. What's even worse is that during the cutscenes, you'll often just get pages worth of narration text. It reached Chimera Ant Arc levels of tediousness. For the love of god, ATLUS; show, don't tell.

As long as there's not another god damn Shadow Chie broken mechanic, I'm down. /s
Seriously underplayed fighting game, and it isn't even bad.

It wouldn't be so bad if in the intervening time, they pooped out spin-off after spin-off to a game that was average at best, and only got worse with each spin-off. Hell, P4AU had on-disc DLC and it can play itself during story-mode. Capcom and Square Enix couldn't get away with that. Why should Atlus?
