This seems like an anime inspired by the Takarazuka Revue. Interesting concept. Let's see how well they will handle this.

It will be the second dance anime this year. Specifically dance! Kinema Citrus is apparently opening up for the idols series.

Is this going to create an idol musical fad like Bushiroad's last hit franchise BanG Dream! did for idol girl bands? Laughing

Jokes aside, this time they've got a more interesting premise and better animation studio going for it at least.

I approve of well-animated theatrics. Hopefully they can up the FABULOUS style in it as well.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a full-blown Takarazuka anime considering the number of references that gets made in other shows.

What's the other one? Haven't watched much seasonal stuff since a year ago.

Like the premise of this stage play anime. Even better, it is another all-girls anime! Instant picked up!

Welcome to the Ballroom is the second one. But if this is a dance anime then it doesn't really show. I thought it was more circus, band type.

For those getting "Love Live! Sunshine!!" vibes, Hinata SATŌ played Ria Kazuno in LLS. I think they should make an anime where a teen boy and teen girl compete to be on Broadway.
