I notice the article does not elaborate on the idiom used in the headline.

First a store, now a small plane.
Will be there a time when we see a Eromanga Sensei train or Eromanga Sensei 787 ?

Quote:
The images were selected by Aniplex and show the series' logo and characters on the left side of the fuselage and creator Tsukasa Fushimi's previous work Oreimo on the right side.

So this is not as much as a fan driven Itasha but a small publicity stunt by Aniplex.
I have seen allot bigger Itasha like 747's and even in Cobra attack helicopters so is nothing new.

"Itasha" literally means "painful car." Apparently we now have painful planes, too.

So this isn't Tsukasa Fushimi's private plane? Huh.

Wow, I didn't know Japan used planes for waste management purposes.
