Had a chance to know what the "F" and "M" stands for after asking someone at the booth. Now, what does the "X" stand for?

The "X" stands for "Zac made a typo as he edited this together and forgot to change it to "M" before hitting 'publish'." I've fixed it since, this is Neo Parasyte M. |

I own all 8 volumes of the original series, but I was very disappointed with “F.” Is “M” very similar? If so I might as well save my money and pass on this one.
