How does Vinland Saga airing in 2019 mean we won’t get Season 4 of Attack on Titan?

Seriously, I can not understand why there is no mention of the Twin Engine. The producer was responsible for designing the projects, but it is not even mentioned in the article. Even if the original source did not do it, I think it would be nice to fix it.

So that's why Kabaneri is being reduced to a movie sequel??
I mean I'm happy to see Vinland is getting a decent adaptation, but I wanted another 12 episode series for my feudal japan zombie slayers.;b

So why will it be an Amazon exclusive? Is it airing on Animeism or NoitaminA? Not to mention Wit’s supposed contract with Netflix like 6 months ago...

Amazon has contract with Twin engine (6 or 7 anime I don't remember) which is producing this anime

I hope it won't be 12 episodes too because we waited so much for this anime!
But also, Shingeki no Kyojin is on tv and on the Internet since 2013:
*season 1: 2013 (25 episodes)
*season 2: 2017 (12 episodes)
*season 3: 2018 (22-24 episodes)
Season 3 will finish in december, so anyway there was no way season 4 was coming in 2019.

Indeed. All of which look AWESOME (particulary Vinland Saga and Pet). I was hoping to see at least one of them in 2018 but I guess 2019 sounds ok too. Can't wait!

What's wrong with having a season 4 of Attack on Titan. Hater spotted.

Or someone who disliked the twists and shifts in themes and scenario that came with the timeskip.
I still dig it and hope for more Titans at some point.
In any case, VinlandSaga in 2019 isn't a big surprise but good to have it confirmed. Really looking forward to it, the manga is one of my all-time favorites.

I’m hoping they get a good director and a solid animation staff. I’d like to see the attention to detail and consistency of Ancient Magus Bride for this title. For the love of god, CG crowds and horses kept to a bare minimum.

Other than Golden Kamuy all shows produced by Twin Engine seem to be Amazon exclusives. Do you not realize that the Netflix contract with Wit, Production I.G., and Bones is for select series that won’t air on Japanese TV?

Kokkoku and Golden Kamuy aired earlier this year, and Le Cirque de Karakuri and Golden Kamuy season 2 are airing in the fall.
