There was a new mobile game cranked out in time for the movie, but like most film tie-ins, it doesn't seem very good.

Alita looks too much like Natalie Portman in that pitch image ...

Gunnm's creator has never been big on cross-promotion for the manga.
That's why there's so little tie-in material for it.
People have wanted games or more anime for it for years but it never happened.
He's the one who has to sign off on these things.
I think he blew multiple opportunities for this.

I don't know that Gunnm as anime would ever been as successful as Sailor Moon or Dragonball but it could have been more mainstream and better-known than it is.
Gunnm is barely known outside manga circles and people that saw the 2-part OVA in the 1990s and early 2000s... Sailor Moon and Dragonball are certainly well-known outside immediate fan circles of manga and anime.

I'm pretty sure that's got more to do with James Cameron owning the rights. From the recent article here...

Quote:
It's such a long-running manga, it's essentially your life's work, but there's only been one animated adaptation, the 2-part, 60-minute OVA version from 1993. Have you been approached with offers to do another animated adaptation?

There have been talks, some conversation, but it's a rights issue. With the movie pending – it's a rights issue.

Would you be interested in doing a full TV anime adaptation of the entire story?

Yep. I've always wanted to.

The one game that exists otherwise I'm aware of is GUNNM Martian Memory, from 1998 for the Playstation. Then Cameron got the rights about 2003, I believe it was.
