I hate live action Japanese adaptation. It’s going to ruin by over acting corniness.

I might give this a look just on the basis that I wanted to get into the show but I just couldn't get past the art style.

Hm, I don't know if this manga translates well into live-action, especially when they are being this over-the-top with the acting (Oshimi's mangas do have some weird dialogue and bizarrely cringe-worthy setups, but they are executed quite brilliantly with the subtlety of his overall presentation and expressionism (especially with how he handles the facial expressions and silent segments).
