The overall decline of print media. In the end my guess is only the mainstays of publishing mags will survive, with the occasional limited releases of anything niche, everything else will be digital only.

With the first color e-ink readers hitting the market this year, the trend will likely only go faster...

At this moment all of Japans manga publishers has there own and also some collective online distribution apps and websites, magazine buying people will continue moving there outside of volume collectors who will continue buying, physical for all good series.

It's still gonna be a little while before a lot of magazines go. Some magazines barely sell 100k compared to jumps 1.5 almost 1.6 mill, but they are still going.

I guess that explains why the MangaPlus app is asking if you, in any given moment, would like to pay for reading the magazine...
