I think we'll be seeing more of these announcements. The way things are right now, it's hard to see it being safe to gather thousands of people into small, enclosed spaced even by next summer. Throw in that conventions are planned months in advance and the number of conventions that were stuck waiting on government actions to be able to avoid contract problems, and I could easily see convention staffs deciding it's best to postpone.

This is just the sad truth. The rest of the world has tackled their pandemics and are on a solid road to recovery, but because of a lot of idiots that only care about themselves, the US is just having to adapt to the pandemic since they couldn’t defeat it.

No, they're not. Spain now has 1 million cases. Europe is seeing a major surge and with the colder months approaching, it will likely only get worse.
