Does anyone else think the characters look fugly? It probably would be more appealing to look at if anything on their faces were remotely symmetrical.

Nah, I feel the same. I remember hearing that Paru basically only drew anthro animal characters and wasn't as comfortable doing humans; I think this really shows. Her art style lends to the anime characters WAY better than humans. I think she really needs to work on making human characters.
