I think what's different here is the approach to the male lead. You expect him to be a complete jerk, but he's the complete opposite and I don't think I've really seen this idea used completely like this before. Usually, the lead is actually a jerk with a soft side or is the sweet prince type.
I'm also wondering about the art grade being a C, I'd rate it more of a B+ if anything. I think it's quite good compared to others out there.

But that's what I read it for I do think there's a limit to how much you can create new content for a high school romance and when I pick these kinds of manga up, I don't expect anything groundbreaking. Good art and a nice-flowing story are all I'm after when picking up this genre.
