Wada is legendary and the perennial Sengoku era composer. Heck, I'd want him to compose for anything historical; or fantastical; or even science fictional!

Inuyasha and Higurashi alone to me is why Wada is a giant in anime composers. Both just showed so much love for Japan's natural aesthetic and also compliment the stories ten fold.

Thanks for the interview! Even though I didn't know of the composers or really notice their music before, it helps us understand the people and processes behind anime.

2 absolutely terriic composers! Really interesting to hear their perspectives - you can tell there's a bit of generation difference in the anime OST world, and it's interesting hearing about some of the factors that lead to that difference (like analog vs digital composing).

Unless I'm missing something, Higurashi was Kawai Kenji. Another great composer who's done a ton of anime OSTs.
