Basically after seeing how well Hololive executed that idea with "ERROR", Niji is also giving it a try now.
Though their take seems to be more on the spooky-bizarre side, while also more openly using their talent as themselves, unlike "ERROR" which used the Holo-Talent basically as actors playing characters within that horror-mystery story.

No? This is basically a higher budget yet smaller scale version of Tsukino Mito's yearly "Hyakkumonogatari/100 Ghost Stories" project where 100 vtubers from various agencies and indies tell horror stories or make horror videos. The first PV even has similar vibe to the last hyakkumonogatari PV yo the point people thought it's for this year's hyakkumonogatari. Also, the drama project is part of the VR horror attraction in Nijisanji Festival.
