I have written comments on all the anime in my Seen All category, but I decided to create a new category called Reviews and copy or move all those titles to that category however when I tried to do it, the prompt said my rating would be deleted and the comment would not appear. So I copied it, but the comments didn't copy into the new category. Is there anyway to just move the whole thing without me having to go one by one and rewrite my comments in the new category?

If you copy (not move), then your ratings should transfer over, but not your comments. However both your comments and ratings should stay in the seen all category.
The easiest way to do what you want, is to open two windows(not tabs) and resize them side by side. With one have your seen all category, and the other your newly created category. Use the check box at the top of your seen all, so that all the shows are checked, then copy them over the new category. Refresh the window that has the new category, and you should see all of the shows you just copied, and the ratings as well. Now in the window with your seen all, check all of the boxes just like you did before only this time hit the edit comment button. Now you should see all of the comments, as written, as well as any HTML you have, in order. Do the same thing with your newly created category; check all boxes, hit edit comment button, you should see the same thing only all the boxes should be empty. Now since your windows are side by side, as in you can see them both at the same time, you should just highlight copy(ctrl-c) and paste(ctrl-v) the comments over to the corresponding boxes on the new category. Depending on how many anime you have seen it shouldn't take you more than ~ten minutes. And you don't have to re-write anything. |
