If it makes you feel any better the idiot kids on that site are morons about every anime not just Naruto. I was browsing their forum after reading all the recent hubbub to see if I could find any comments on Zac's interview and although I did not, I came upon a lovely thread titled Which anime on crunchyroll you wish is not icensed!!!!!!!. And I am apparently not stupid enough to understand the lingo because I took it to mean "Which series they hoped would not be licensed," but apparently it means "Which series do you wish were not already licensed." And they go off on several series. A lot of the series mentioned were some that many of us here had been wanting to get licensed and were excited to see licensed. I also find it amusing that they think that some series are licensed when in fact they are not. I read at least three posts from people upset that History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi got licensed I also browsed through their list of anime and find it funny that while most of the licensed ones have notes that the series are licensed instead of removing them they just write a note to buy the DVDs. And in some cases they even claim the title is not licensed. Like the Full Metal Panic TSR OAV which when someone posted a comment that it should be removed, the mod responded:
And even cited the ANN encyclopedia as a source for this claim. Even though the OAV was included in the last disk of the FMP TSR release. I'll stop browsing that site now because it is giving me a headache. |

On the same thread that undeadben referred to, posted about four hours ago:
That does not belong here, of course. To do so, there needs to be a fourth category, like "purgatory", under which quotes are placed if the original poster deserves to get sent to such a place. Bad name, I guess. How about "putrid"? "Puerile"? "Puke inducing"? Okay, so they are getting worse, but you see my point? The current three categories were not designed to handle this level of stupidity. How about this one:
I also noticed two things (and mods, please forgive me, I won't do too much more, I promise). The first was that the majority of posters were in their early teens. As someone who has an 13 year old brother, I cannot believe how immature these people are coming across as. Mind boggling. The second was that if the poster did not simply say "everything", then Naruto was always high on the list. Is that all CR is? Teenage Naruto lovers? [Sorry for getting off track, but this was the first time I had ever delved - however briefly - into the abyss of ignorance. Still getting over the shock.] |

Hmm, "one of the P trifecta"? But which one? I hope it's "poignant". I always wanted to be poignant. Or was that "pungent"? Oh, well, never mind...
Nah, I'm oldfashioned -- I use a Rolodex. - abunai *pulls out and places card no. 186 in the "used" pile* |

That reminds me of a joke from the Gabriel Iglesias special when he got pulled over and he and his friends yelled at the cop thanking him for having a computer because the last one had a Rolodex. It's much funnier then how I described it btw. My question is do you alphabetize the cards by user name or by subject heh? |

I still doodle with crayons.......
Here's one from Mylene that I found amusing given the context of the thread. I suppose I'm just easily amused.

that's kind of funny since I used to believe my dad when he told us that stuff, although I do believe the Rockies were included in his version, as well as rivers where books had to be carried overhead... and don't knock crayons! Or fingerpainting! They are legit modes of self-expression! *reminds me of when I read that Mike Huckabee signed the ARKids Bill with a crayon |
