I believe in Daima's victory and eventual airing on Nick worldwide, Serbia included.

I guess they figured all the young chibi characters made it more kid friendly?

Dragon Ball is literally a kids show and has always been. Even ignoring the content that hasn't aged well, Japan's standards for what is meant for kids will always be different than other regions, as for example, Demon Slayer in Japan is considered a kids show as well (in fact, when I was playing one of the Taiko games, the opening song was in the Kids section, along with stuff from Pokemon and Pretty Cure). This is also true for European cartoons, which often have gotten away with stronger sexual content in their kids cartoons.

And yet it's airing on Adult Swim funnily enough.

The Adult Swim that also aired Ed Ed n Eddy and Gigantor? Wow! Yeah man, block that shows children’s shows will contain children’s shows no matter if they were American or Japanese ones.

The only way children shows can air uncut in America is on a block for adults, sadly. And it's still not a guarantee they still wont have edits.
