was just checking out the release schedule for April on the site, and I noticed that funimation seems to skip this month for a lot of their releases, I.E. witchblade, shuffle, glass fleet. etc.
Did they announce going to an every other month release from their current every month release? I guess i missed the memo. |

Just looking at the titles you noted it appears pretty standard. For Glass Fleet the time between DVDs one and two is 6 weeks, two to three is 6 weeks, three to four is 5 weeks, four to five is 6 weeks, and five to six is 6 weeks.
For Witchblade it's 6 weeks between DVDs one and two, 4 weeks between two and three, 8 weeks for three to four, 6 weeks from four to five, and 7 weeks between five and six. The quick 4 week release was probably to generate more Christmas sales, with the following 8 week break to bring it back to the ~6 weeks per release schedule. For Shuffle it's two 6 week breaks between the three DVDs, so it's normal too. |
