As a huge fan of Shingo Natsume I'm really looking forward to this. Pity about the long wait though...

Glad to see Shingo Natsume back in the director's seat! And with returning staff from Sonny Boy, I hope it's just as beautiful and thought provoking.

It's going to be a long wait for 2027...

I assume that caption came from the press materials, but there's nothing in that image to suggest the sword is made of glass, especially since it's completely opaque. The reflection off the pommel suggests perhaps the hilt or at least the pommel could be glass, but the blade appears to be metallic. Dunno why anyone would make a metal sword with a glass handle anyway.

I hope the film turns out as impressive as its pedigree.

I'm in for anything Shingo Natsume, and Natsume Ono is just one of my favourites (though just for character design it seems). Wishing for a longer series, but looking forward to it either way.

If this stays 2D animated and is free of AI and NFTs, ghost will easily be one of my most anticipated films releasing in 2027.

Kinda wish this year's Scarlet anime film looked similar to this in terms of animation style. I really liked the film work Madhouse did for Mamoro Hosoda's earliest movies, especially for Summer Wars.

Yes the press materials we received specifically said it was a glass sword.
