It was wild to hear that song at the end of the episode. Beyond the Time, indeed.
I just hope the story can wrap itself up well in a single episode next week. |

Considering one of the lyrics is 'You can change your destiny on the other side of time', I think it fits perfectly well for GQux.

I think it works better here than in CCA, myself.

The use of the song was one of the most obvious check-the-box moments of the show and was highly predicted by the fanbase. Newtypes can already travel in time due to Unicorn, so dragging up the nostalgia bot from beyond time was the only way to end this mess. The show has finally turned so bad it´s good, like Seed Destiny, I will give it that.
The anime still has time to ruin Amuro and Kamille, who shockingly have remained off the board so far. The show has already poisoned the Tier 1 canon UC timeline, so fail big or go home. |
