Ironic that an AI slop company would name a studio after a goddess of art.

"If the deities didn't want us to use AI then they wouldn't have allowed us to invent it."
--some idiot at one of these companies, undoubtedly
Also, why does this just feel like more scams and embezzlement that will eventually come to light (like, even if you ignore the new holding company having to do with AI). Yes, the Gaina corporate entity in its existing state has essentially nothing to do with what remains of Gainax, but that distancing is also how "good" scams work. Pretty incredible that at this point the Gainax name and so much related to it just instantly conjures up thoughts of inadequacy and crime.

Ironic considering generative AI is an obstacle to art and learning.

I'm not sure if this is going to be good, bad, or going to get much worse if an AI company is buying out an anime studio. If this lead to the studio creating horrid AI-generated animation, then this studio is not going to survive on AI-generated bad animation.

To. be honest, it's a good name for a studio.
Btw, not sure if Gunbuster 3 will ever happen, but I always wanted for a miracle to happen, and that Nono meets Noriko.

I actually really liked Hulaing Babies and had hopes that Yamaga really did want to create his long-delayed projects, but I guess it's well and truly dead now.

Whelp, there goes all hope I had in Petals of Reincarnation being a good adaptation.
