Me, I always start hunting down trailers like a hog sniffing out truffl---I mean, like a beach comber with a metal detector - when episode 10's start hitting. After Apocalypse Hotel has aired its final Tuesday, I'll start up some threads for anime that I don't see on the board.
The number of anime that I'm highly interested/somewhat confident in is a bit lower than yours, Blood, but it might just be that my internal tier system is a little more obsessive. These are anime that I'm eagerly anticipating and am fairly confident about.
The atmosphere, music, and look of With You and the Rain seem gorgeous. Same for Water Magician. Of course, high production values aren't always a sign of quality writing, but the odds are a bit higher than when everything looks like crap and the music is annoying. The Secrets of the Silent Witch trailer also looked great but had a whole lot of mugging going on, but Alan45 gave the story a glowing endorsement, so I'm cautiously optimistic.
Clevetas seems like it has a distinct plot and looks good.
Detectives These Days Are Crazy has a fun vibe, and Solo Camping For Two looks like it could be chillaxin' with a bit of romance thrown in.
Lord of Mysteries looks like it has a fun, creepy, steampunk sort of thing going on.
And for some reason, the Dealing With Mikadano Sisters is a Breeze trailer makes me think this one might be that one out of five harem comedies that I stick with.
and If Hell Teacher, Tougen Anki, Fermat's Kitchen, 9:Ruler's Crown, or Ugly Mug, Epic Fighter turn out to be on Crunchyroll's hidden surprise list, I'll be happy.
Then there are at least 4 sequels that I'm eagerly anticipating too. And I'll come back to The Summer Hikaru Died and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity when I pick Netflix up again.
After that, a lot of the anime you mentioned are on my cautiously hopeful list.
Scooped Up by an S Rank,
New Saga
Onmyo Kaiten ReBirth
Hotel Inhumans
Ruri Rocks
Apocalypse Bringer Myhoghra,
The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princess
Gachiakuta
Bad Girl
The Earthbound Mole
Takopi's Original Sin
Nyaight of the Living Cat
all look like they could be great if they overcome some premise challenges or else be enjoyably okay. Based on experience, I'll give most of them three episodes and then drop at least half of them.
Then there are a number of anime that have some interesting premises but are full of CGI, or that look all right but aren't really in my wheelhouse. I'll try all of them.

I usually go for the easiest method: just try a bit of everything. Trailers can be less than an accurate depiction of a show and sometimes you have an anime that sounds meh on paper but has some sort of unexpected appeal.
Also, random thought, this is the third season in a row with a hotel show. This time it is a hotel for inhumans while we also had a hotel after an apocalypse and a hotel for those that may or may not have passed away.

@ Edjwald: I'm giving you credit for my decision to throw a private little trailer party for myself. It was your mention of watching trailers earlier in this thread that made me think, "hmmm..." It's something I plan to do going forward because it's a fun way to get even more psyched for a new season.

Yeah, I enjoy the anticipation part. It's true that anime trailers can lead you astray, but not as badly as movie trailers, and they don't tend to give away the entire plot so that I'm sorry I watched them either.

Started putting stuff in the Discussion Index and copied everything I have, as of now, to the opener of this thread.

I didn't even realize how those indexes worked until you started doing that, and I'm about to start using them for looking up the upteen sequel seasons we've got coming out. BTW, like the avatar, Tony

@Edjwald
Feel free to shamelessly bump any pre-existing threads for their new seasons. I'll add/edit stuff to their openers, at some point.

Ha, take all the screenshots you want... I'll deny I wrote that to my dying day. FAKE NEWS!!!
Welp, this crazy summer season has prompted me to do something I've never done before: create a metaphorical fridge, where I'm storing some shows for "later." Some of the shows are new shows I've already sampled and liked enough to see more and some are shows that I haven't checked out yet, but am prepared to wait on. I have to do this because the sheer volume of shows I want to sample is starting to overwhelm me. There were I believe 8 yesterday (Saturday) and nine today (Sunday). I thought I'd get to catch up a bit because it was supposed to be crappy weather today but it's not so back to the beach for me!

Reporting in with some (six to be exact) late season cuts, believe it or not. With so few episodes left why would you bother cutting now, some of you may ask. And all I can say in answer is that once I recognize that I really don't care about a show, I just can't go on with it even if runway is rapidly disappearing. To wit:
Fermat no Ryori: there had been things I've stubbing my toe on all season and currently there is an arc with a character dynamic I find off-putting, so bye.
Grand Blue Dreaming 2:. I'm full. I enjoyed what I watched but I have no huge desire for more.
Hotel Inhumans: Again, was basically enjoying, but noticed that out of the eight shows I was following on Sundays, I was always leaving this to the 7th spot. There is something about it that doesn't really compel me.
Nyaight of the Living Cat:. This one, at least in my own head, is pretty easy to explain. The cat propaganda finally got to me. I thought it might and it did.
Ruri Rocks: And this was the show I generally made 8th in watch order on Sundays after Hotel Inhumans. SoL really aren't my cup of tea, I admit. More or less enjoyed what I saw but don't need more.
Uglymug, Epicfighter:. Done.

I admire you for being so resolute when it comes to cutting shows Blood. My season currently consists of 38 shows on the schedule and while the season has offered me a ton of good to great episodes I am glad to be near the end of it. If every season was this packed I would have to re-evaluate some things.
That is not to say next season is dead like some claim it to be, having an interest in 20 or so shows is a bit lighter than nearly 40 though.

I too am looking forward to the end of this season. I'm down to 25 titles and there are several I'm going to miss, but I also have some that are really running on fumes. Clevatess an example that jumps to mind.
