Not gonna lie, Turkey! seemed like yet another girls sports anime from the previews that I would have tried for a couple episodes before dropping. I would have never thought it would wind up being one of my top picks for this season (only behind The Summer Hikaru Died). Fantastic story, even if I can't quite wrap my head around if the story actually ties well with the spirit of bowling or it is indeed two extremely different concepts smooshed together that just so happens to hold itself together.
