Glad this is continuing because this might mean that it has attracted a stable audience, hopefully growing one too.

Seems from the title of the collection that this'll be a collection of episodes focused on Hattori Heiji, and maybe Kaitou Kid will show up. There are a few other characters that you can kind of mark as rivals of Shinichi, so maybe some of them will show up as well.

This'd be jumping way ahead but I'm really curious what kind of voice they might give Sera.

I feel like the intention is for this to be a continuous project if only because they recently renamed the subs on Crunchyroll to Detective Conan as well, feels like they're really trying to push that branding in a way that doesn't really make sense if the plan's to just return to the holding pattern it was already in for years.

That said I do desperately wish Crunchyroll would divide up the subbed episodes by seasons or groups of 100 or something, it is a nightmare to scroll through a list of like 500 episodes.

Looking forward to checking out the movies, as always!

I'm also looking forward to hearing Mauricio Ortiz-Segura as Kaito Kid. Griffin Burns was pretty pitch-perfect in the movies.

Also we should hear Studio Nano Kazuha in the Hattori episodes, I assume.

I'm glad to see more Conan getting dubbed. Though the inconsistency in the casting between all these different studios (Bang Zoom, Macias, Nano) is throwing me off a bit, I do love the fact Mark Stoddart is back as Megure. Reminds me of the old Fui dub, which I did like despite all the changes.

The new dub ep batch is out and it's so deja vu to see these old funimation adapted episodes redubbed.

I'm pleasantly surprised with this batch of episodes and it makes me more confident that the studio knows what's important for the long-term viability of the franchise in the west. Going back and dubbing all of the important establishing episodes that they skipped with their first release in favor of them getting further into the Black Organization main plot should help. I'm wondering now if this is all of collection 2, or if like collection 1, they're splitting it up into 2 releases.

I've been told since the show has like 1000 eps only half the series has "important" episodes. I wonder if that will still be feasible in the long run to dub.
