Since the manga was well received, I really hope it gets dubbed/simuldubbed, unlike Orb on the Earth Movements were it didn't get dubbed despite the manga & anime get praised from fans

This is the most exciting news I have heard since the Vinland Saga anime was announced back in 2019. The story of Eumenes is one of the most astounding and tragic (in the classical sense) of Ancient Greece, and what little I've read of Historie suggests that Iwaaki has been doing a fantastic job of adapting it for a new audience. This could be the anime of 2026 if LIDEN FILMS pulls it off.

LIDEN FILMS has once again got a hold of one of my favourites. Am I cursed? Not all their project are a phoned-in mess, cashing in all name values. Or so I keep telling myself. There is also an 8 or so volume chunk of story that fits a 2-cour run.
Who knows when and if the manga will return. The 66-year-old author was or is reportedly in poor health, and the main plot is arguably still in the first act as of the most recent hiatus point, due to how long the prologue section is. It´s longer than what came after it. One of the least likely scanlation favourites to reach any form of ending but worth a read regardless. Vagabond got 85% there and has a solid shot at an ending. Historie can´t have even hit the midpoint as of volume 12.

Oooh, wonder if we'll FINALLY get the manga licensed soon? I think Kodansha would probably have first dibs on it. You'd think the marketing writes itself, it's from the creator of Parasyte, which they're happy to re-re-release 4 times as is.
