The page of Kou Shigenobu (person#233888) is the same person as Yasushi Shigenobu (person#184529).
The given name kanji 康 can be read as either Kou or Yasushi, however I've realized that most places online use the "Kou Shigenobu" reading of the name. Considering his social media handle uses the abbreviation "k_shigenobu" (https://x.com/k_shigenobu) I believe it's most likely that the intended reading of the name actually is Kou Shigenobu. For another example, his work on some recent video games also credit him as Kou Shigenobu. (Example, credited under Scenario Designers.) Although ANN has historically leaned toward the "Yasushi" reading, it's looking to be more likely that "Kou" is the correct reading. For the sake of helping keep the name reading consistent across various internet sources and current professional credits, I think it would be best for the pages to be merged and for all credits to be listed under "Kou Shigenobu". |
