The groups concerts are decently popular, but it's not because of popularity at all.
The actual EoS reasons here are more simple - the developers of the game, Odd Number, went bankrupt, so there is literally no one to support the service.

I've heard Hasunosora is very popular with the Japanese fanbase. At least, I've found plenty of fanart and doujins that support that.
