so it came out about a week or two ago, anyone else seen it??
running time is about 3:30mins (not including ending song)...... spoiler[looks like there is a law that was passed that made chocolate and other fatty and sweet foods illegal to have. I'ts all being goverened under the regulations of Perfect Health Special Act.] |

I'm a little put off yet relieved that it's a short. One one hard, it might have been fun as a regular length show, but premise wouldn't fully allow it, kinda how I feel about Library Wars. At the same time, I can never take shorts seriously.

my god i wish it was abit longer than just 3.5 mins..........anyways episode 3 is out spoiler[and it looks like the perfect health law is also banning breads, honey, vanilla, and sugar. also there is an underground trading system that is going on. it looks like at the end its going to get raided.]
anyone else think its wierd that after the law got passed by the japanese gov. to make it "illegal" to be over a certain weight this anime comes out?? |

I'm enjoying this show. The concept presented reminds me of Library War, except for the fact that Chocolate Underground isn't taking itself seriously like LW did. Surprisingly the animation is pretty decent for an ONA, but then again it's Production I.G so I should have expected this.
