Excellent! I'm happy to hear that the anime adaptation will be brief for the first volume of DOGS. It means they won't be generating haphazard filler.

Eh? I thought it was already out that they'll use only the first volume... the first announcement said so.
Ah well, at least it'll be an OVA so hopefully there's going to be a bigger budget for animation/music/etc. (I'm still meh about the cast, but it's already decided so...) I wonder whether they'll keep Heine's story a two-parts one or they'll combine it into one episode.

i think the titles for Naoto and Haine's are wrong. they should be "Blade Maiden" (Naoto) and "Stray dogs howling in the dark" (Haine) using the original manga as basis.

Somebody should update the pages for the manga to include Viz as the American release company...
I hope they treat this manga well, I've really enjoyed it so far from reading it online and I'm glad to hear it's coming to America. This is definitely one I want own (although budgetary constrains necessitate that right now I focus exclusively on Urasawa Naoki).
