Here are the confirmed guests that will attend (subject to change) the Toronto Anime Con in mid-March. Admission for both days is $15. Those with a Fan Expo VIP premium pass are admitted free with the VIP card to submit to the admission.
- Sonny Strait (Famous for the voice of Lupin III movies at FUNimation; Attended Anime North 2006 & 2007) - Vic Mignogna (A fan favorite, attended Fan Expo 2006 & 2008 as well as the Anime Con in December 2007) - Mike McFarland (This will be his first anime con appearence in Canada) Colleen Clinkenbeard had to postpone her visit to the March event and hopes she'll make it up to us hopefully for Fan Expo 2009. I'll definitely be going to this on Saturday! I've never been to an Anime Con before - am I right in hoping I might be able to score some good deals there?

Yes you could. Even merchandise not found in any major retailers. You might even be lucky if Pokemon Platinum for the Nintendo DS is available there before its official North American release.
There have been anime cons and Fan Expos where certain games and DVDs have been on sale before its official release in stores across North America. |
