I couldn't have said it better myself. But I still wouldn't pay $65 dollars for one DVD.

shouldn't the news read..

""International version" removes the sex but runs 20 minutes longer"

in the subtitle, instead of

""International version" 20 removes the sex but runs minutes longer"?

This is a puzzling development. I'm a big fan of Mezzo Forte, and I've read pretty much everything I can find about it on the web, and I've never seen anything to suggest there's a longer version or any unused footage lying around -- much less almost 25 minutes' worth (adjusted for the excised sex scenes). Seems to me there are several possibilities here:

(a) The runtime is simply incorrect.

(b) There are extras included in that 80 minutes, besides the OVAs themselves.

(c) New animation has been done, maybe in connection with Mezzo DSA?
