I've heard good things about Spice and Wolf. I may wait until sometime in the future to see if they come up with a release that has season 1 & 2 together.

Yay for Spice and Wolf. Definitely on my to-buy list.

Was a release date on Oh! Edo Rocket announced and I missed it? Maybe December...

Im looking forward to owning Evangleion 1.01. I haven't seen it yet but I've heard its really good. I'm sure as the release date gets closer there's going to be allot of advertising and build up. I also assume the dvd is going to have some cool extras.

I hope there's a Funi sale soon because I see several items that I may actually pre-order; I never pre-order.

Amazon (as linked) had Eva 1:01 for $20.99 instead of $29.99. I don't know if thats an error or a sale price but I might have to grab it for that!
Does anyone know if its a barebones release?

They also have the Dragon Box for $55.99 & Spice and Wolf for $41.99.

not bad...

I remember seeing on the Funimation website that the Blu-Ray of Evangelion 1.0 will be released in the beginning of next year. Definitely worth the wait and the few extra bucks, if you can play Blu-Ray.

As cool as it is for Tsubasa to get a Blu-Ray release, I keep hoping that sometime soon Funi releases the second half of the series in a season boxset. As much as I want to get all of them in singles (I really do), I don't have a lot of room left on my shelf to hold two artboxes full of singles.

So here's hoping they get one out sometime soon. Anime hyper

There's nothing that entire month that I want to get from Funimation at all (I don't own Blueray & I am not a fan of DB or AS. Well there's a first time for everything.

So do I as well. I need to pre-order Sgt. Frog and Dragon Ball Season 1 and maybe a few other things. My spidey senses tell me that TRSI next sale is going to be either Funi or ADV.

EDIT:

Season 2 of DB and Sgt Frog S1 P2 are something I have my eye on as well.

I'll be getting Evangelion 1.01 (been waiting a long time for that one) and, at some point, Spice and Wolf. Such a nice change of pace, that series. I'm assuming by "Complete Collection" it includes the seventh episode, which wasn't broadcast on Japanese television.

I'm a little ignorant as to how licensing works, but I know the second series of Spice and Wolf is produced by a different animation company to the first. Whether that would affect them potentially being packaged together or not, I'm sure somebody here will know.

I just hope if they are packaged together that they don't lower the price. The price is reasonable and they deserve to make a lot of money on that show.

Why do they call it "Spice And Wolf: Complete Collection" if it is only the first season? That's just misleading.

Only if you don't pay any attention and don't read the details... (I have no sympathy for that honestly).

If you want a more reasonable description then read the one at rightstuf.

Spice and Wolf Season 1 DVD Complete Collection (Hyb) is what it's called there. Amazon doesn't know anything about what they sell.
