Yeah, me too...
However, since Seed Project's work is "to take the "seeds" of online hit projects" maybe it could mean something...
I mean, Candy boy is an "online hit project", since its episodes were posted as ONA on Nico Nico Douga.
Furthermore, it seems that the franchise hasn't been abandoned after the end of the anime ONA series, since the manga version has just started (and there's also the upcoming Sakuya spin-off manga).
So, who knows...
