posted on by Egan Loo
Seed Project, one of the groups involved in the Black Rock Shooter anime that is being produced by the Ordet studio, has confirmed on Friday that it is working with Candy Boy creator Takafumi Hoshikawa on his latest unnamed project.
Seed Project was established to take the "seeds" of online hit projects, develop them into new works, and release them to the rest of the world. Its first effort is next spring's previously announced Black Rock Shooter anime. It is also working with Hoshikawa on a second project, as well as with Chiyomaru Shikura (a producer on the Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate games) on a third project. Starting next April, Seed Project will work with the voice-acting and vocalist training school Dwango Creative School to cast students and graduates in the anime it is producing.
Dwango Creative School and Seed Project began streaming a video on the Nico Nico Douga website to announce their Seiyū Debut Project on Friday. (Nico Nico Douga, which is run by the Dwango company Niwango, requires viewers to register in Japanese.) The video showcases some of the works from Seed Project's collaborators.
