It's not an animated film, but a live-action film based on Lone Wolf and Cub manga-ka Kazuo Koike's Shurayuki Hime, and a re-make of an older samurai movie called Lady Snowblood. (Available on vhs from Animeigo.) Oh, and Princess Blade is horrible. Don't believe the hype.

Doh, Somene wasn't paying attention when they posted that. I'll go fix it and then take a plastic baseball bat to the person who posted it.
