It wasn't a great movie, but I don't think that it was terrible. I enjoyed it enough that I'm happy with my purchase of the subtitled BD for $34. I liked the '80s movie, too, and would like to see someone release it somewhere with English subtitles...

If by "terrible" you mean "awesome," I totally agree. It strays the farthest from the source material and ends up being a Japanese Back to the Future, but once you accept that, it's a wonderful movie.
