What's the difference between manga, graphic novels and regular novels. I've never read anything related to anime and I want to buy something but I don't know what to buy and this is even harder since I don't know the differences between each kind of kind.
Please help me... |

A regular novel is just like a paperback book or regular book that has text in it, but it's fiction. A graphic novel is a comic story that is concluded within so many volumes, though usually is it one volume. The term graphic novel is usually applied to comics in America. Manga is the term used for any comic that comes out of Japan, although people have been trying to apply the term to comics written like manga here in the US. The Japanese Prime Minister Aso Taro has also pushed for and succeeded in getting the International Manga Awards up and running as well, for those who try to write in manga format.
