I wonder if anyone will ask Yasuhiro Nightow if he knows how badly Dark Horse botched the translation of the Trigun manga.
I mean, seriously, people. Nightow himself said that Trigun is only in Japanese as a matter of translation convention; the Planet Gunsmoke is supposed to speak English. The way Dark Horse handled it, you'd think it was supposed to be Deep Space Planet Feudal Japan Action. Dry? Stilted? Full of random Japanese words for no apparent reason other than the fact that the translator desperately needs to be pistol-whipped, preferably with Milly Thompson's trademark stungun? Check, check and double-check. I can't freakin' read the damn translation; it's all my brain can do to wrap around the concept of its existence.
