I've always wonder whenever I'm roaming the BCC those three days in the summer how many of these people are ANN members. "Have I talked with this person before and not even know it?" So I was wondering, how many of you are going to be at Otakon this year. It's the second biggest anime convention in America and for me at least, the biggest event in Baltimore. I live in Baltimore, I go to school here, and I have since I was 7, and Otakon is always something I look forward to, no matter if it's in early July or late August. So for whoever's going, I can't wait to see you there!

First of all, I love Baltimore.I pretty much made it my home post high school, and I very recently and reluctantly moved back to my hometown, but I just *might* be able to visit during Otakon weekend, and it will be great to go to Otakon again! I went last year for the first time and had a blast!
It would be fun to meet up with friendly fans (most of my friends don't know what an "otaku" is let alone have any interest in going to a con, so I'll probably go alone). |

I'm going alone myself. I originally had a friend that was going to go with me but he decided to back out last minute so I'll be going alone again this year. Luckily everybody is always very friendly at otakon so it never seems like you are really alone.

I almost didn't go this year, but Kanon Wakeshima's appearence got me to attend. Got to meet her Friday evening at the autograph session she had and also got to see her concert on Saturday. I got to sit in the center section three rows back from the stage. I loved her performance!
