That aside, maybe such a deal with the mystery partner will lead to 4Kids being a better, more competant company. However, in the history of entertainment companies catering to children, sometimes their "goals" and "realization of their potential" can be misguided and miss the mark by a mile-and-a-half (just ask...4Kids?).

I considered making that joke... but I withheld thinking no one else would make it. Hopefully 4kids won't suffer from Involuntary Narnia Adventures or Mind of Mencia.
But to get back at the topic at hand... Who knows... maybe the new company will understand us anime fans... or at least understand that they can make more money by having uncut DVDs for fans who want them rather than loosing money with fansubs...

Maybe it's Funimation. They could clean up the mess that is 4Kids and actually get some tv exposure at the same time.

 OMG. That was my first thought when I read it.
This intrigues me, but I'm not sure if this would be a good thing or not. Kids need decent anime as well, but 4kids WAY overdid it. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

In all seriousness, is there any anime company that is worse than 4kids?
I personally don't think so, even Bandai and Media Blasters are better than them. Heck, even Sentai is better than them and that is saying a lot.
Look at this way, 4kids can't get really any worse than they are now. They have ruined every series they have licensed and have continued to do so even up to today. I really don't think a company that has been ruining anime for a decade can get worse.

Even Sentai? What the hell are you talking about? What's the worst Sentai has done, misspell a few words in their subtitles? You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. Yeah Bandai has pissed me off more than once but NONE of those companies has done anything nearly as unforgivable as 4kids molestation of One Piece. LURK MOAR.
